have absolutely won the state of wisconsin if they had just had some voter i.d. laws. right? president obama won wisconsin with more than 205,000 votes. that's a lot of people to suppress in order to make a sure romney absolutely would win type situation. don't you think? one of the most outrageous post-election comments about minority voters came from the chairman of the state of maine. their republican party up there. charlie webster, he questioned the mere presence of african-american voters at the polls. >> in some parts of the state, for example, in some parts of rural maine, there were dozens, dozens of black people who came in and voted election day. everybody has a right to vote, but nobody in town knows anybody who's black. how did that happen? we don't know. we're going to find out. >> webster tried to explain himself to talking points memo. to president obama's re-election some republicans think the apocalypse is right around the corner, so they are reorganizing. it's gotten so bad residents in 40 states have started petitions to peacefully cede from the union. the petitions have been filed with the obama administration's we the people program. if a petition receives 25,000 signatures within 30 days, it will be reviewed by the white house and a response will be issued. so far texas, florida, georgia, and louisiana have all met the 25,000 mark. of course, the big winner is texas. over 84,000 people in texas have signed up to break way from the united states. as of tonight the white house has not issued a response to any of these petitions. rick perry has flirted with the idea of an independent texas in the past, but this time he's changed his tune. his office released a statement saying governor perry believes in the greatness of our union and nothing should be done to change it. but he also shares the frustrations many americans have with our federal government. really? believe it or not, it's good news for democrats tha

he's trying to do it right after the election as a try of making a point. >> president obama is meeting with business leaders on wednesday. do you think this is going to come up? this pushback against obama care? >> sure. we got a hint of how this is playing out when john boehner told absentc that it's now the of the land. for some reason, republicans are still invested in repealing obama care. the problem they are going to confront is that this thing is going forward with or without them. in 2014, new regulations will take place including the banning of discrimination for preexisting conditions. also exchanges in the states will take place whether or not the states say yes or no. the government will step in. so they can either get on board or not. the election was sort of the last legitimate opportunity for them to politically repeal this law. that's now passed. there are other appeals, but it doesn't stand that great of chance. they have to work within the confines of the legislation. >> this is going to be a big issue in the midterms. because it's just going to be on the verge of bei
